Golf at Bretton Woods
 Bretton Woods' 18-hole championship golf course challenges novices and experts alike. Presiding over 285 acres adjacent to the Potomac River, its 6,663 yards were designed by Ed Ault and have been played since 1968. The course has been home to the Maryland Open, Washington Metropolitan Golf Association Amateur Championship and several United States Golf Amateur Qualifiers.
The convenience of Bretton Woods is well above par. Just 15 minutes from the Capital Beltway, our facility is easily accessible from major highways and interstates. Skirted by acres of picturesque landscape, the outdoor ambience and amenities include a clubhouse overlooking the course, practice area with separate chipping and putting greens, bunker practice area and a full driving range.
Bretton Woods' PGA Head Professional, Jim Napier, and his two assistant PGA Golf Professionals, Randy Barnes and Jason Hill, conduct over 100 golf outings per year. The Professional staff, with over 50 years' combined experience, welcomes the opportunity to assist in the planning and running of your golf event. Bretton Woods hosts golf outings most Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from March through November. 2008 outing prices are $90.00 per person for Mondays and Wednesdays and $95.00 per person for Fridays and include: greens fees with shared riding cart, unlimited use of the practice range facilities, bag handling, customized scorecard, individual cart sign with outing and players' names with starting hole assignment, scoreboard with outing and players' names attended and scored by one of our PGA Golf Professionals. In addition, Bretton Woods will contribute $10.00 per per son in merchandise certificates redeemable at our Golf Shop for prizes toward your event.
Bretton Woods also offers the flexibility of either morning or afternoon shotgun starts. Our staff will assist in the set-up of your on-course tournament needs from tee and green sponsor signs to the longest-drive and closest-to-the-pin contest and much more. You can rest assured that we are professionally committed to make your day at Bretton Woods a most memorable and enjoyable occasion for the participants, volunteers and organizers of your event.
A full range of catering capabilities, from an outdoor picnic under a canopy to festive indoor dining adds a savory touch to your group outing.
