BWWGA Solheim Cup September 30-October 1, 2017 This golf season BWWGA is introducing a new tournament that will parallel the Solheim Cup! Participants will be divided into two evenly matched teams using handicap indexes! The International Team ( blue and gold golf attire) and the USA Team (red white, and blue golf attire) will compete against each other in a two day event to be held on Saturday September 30th and Sunday October 1st. Prior to the competition, you will be assigned to a team, know who your partner will be, and know who you will be competing against. Tee times will be assigned! You and your teammate can earn 1 point for a win, ½ a point for a tie, and 0 points for a loss. Point totals will be posted after completion of each days round. Tournament Fee: Each participant will contribute $15.00 in cash to be collected prior to the start of Saturday’s competition. The money will be divided equally among members of the winning team. Format: September 30th: ( 2 person team) 6 holes alternate shot, 6 holes scramble, and 6 holes best ball October 1st: (2 person team) Best Ball (match play) Appetizers will be served, the winning team acknowledged, and prizes will be distributed ( awarded) following the competition on Sunday!
