Kathryn lives in Olney, Maryland with her husband Nicholas and their 1 year old daughter Madeleine. Her love of the outdoors and over 15 years of serious recreation activity led her to complete a B.S Degree in Parks and Recreation from Frostburg State University. She joined the staff of Bretton Woods as Assistant Director of Team Building and Outdoor Education in 2020. In 2021, she became the Summer Day Camp Director. Her outdoor background includes overnight and day camp experience in both the Adirondacks in far Upstate New York, Washington State and Maryland. She has a specific background in hiking, backpacking and strenuous trail work in National Parks and kayaking.
