INDOOR Season policies and procedures

Seasonal Bubble Time

Reservations for one weekly period throughout the season from October 15, 2022 to April 7, 2023 (25 weeks) require payment in advance.

Seasonal Courts will be allocated to members through the Court Allocation System (see below).

Prime Time vs. Non-Prime Time

The schedule for Prime and Non-Prime Time is as follows:

*** Instructional Clinics run from 9:00am-12:30pm on Saturday, and 9:30am-12:30pm on Sunday.

**The indoor courts are reserved Monday-Friday for private lessons and clinics between 3:30-6:30 PM.

If there are any openings between 3:30-6:30 PM, they will be sold on a week-to-week basis.

Court Allocation System for the Indoor Season

The Court Allocation System is as follows:

• Members who have booked courts for seasonal contract time can renew their contracts for next season (for the same slot only).
• On March 1, the remaining prime and nonprime times will be offered to MEMBERS ONLY on a first-come-first-serve basis through the end of March.
• On April 1, the remaining courts will be offered to members and nonmembers on a first-come-first-serve basis.
• At the time the season contract times are reserved, a deposit of $100.00 is required (in the form of one check or money order only). Deposits may not be billed to member accounts. Reservations of seasonal time are contracted to one individual. That person is responsible for the deposit as well as the terms of the contract.

Non-Contract Play

If you do not have contract time for the season, but want to play in the bubble, you have two options:

1. Open Time. Unsold contract times and non-spot times are open for sale during the 2022/2023 season. Until these times are sold, members can buy open time on a weekly basis. Open courts can be booked for lessons 7 days in advance only by Bretton Woods Teaching Professionals, and 4 days in advance by members.
2. Unused court time by seasonal contract holders. Those with a seasonal contract may not be using the court during some weeks. Should the contract holder let the tennis shop know the court will not be used, it will be available for purchase. The contract holder will get half of the court cost back if the court is resold.

INDOOR RESERVATION POLICY

Non-Contract time can only be booked FOUR DAYS in advance by calling or emailing the tennis center. Your reservation is not confirmed until a member of the tennis staff confirms it for you. Reservations are on a first-come-first-serve basis for each play period, and can be made ONLY by tennis staff!

Self-Reserving a court will not be honored, and will be erased from the court sheets.

When reserving a court, please let the tennis attendant know any members or guests you will be playing with. Members are required to sign in all guests prior to play.

During the indoor season, members are allowed to only book one court per day.

Non-member can book spot times 2 days in advance and open times 4 days in advance.

Extended Court Use Policy

Should your play extend after your reserved court time and the court is open and available, you may play an extra 15 minutes to finish your match without being charged. During the indoor season, there are occasions when a court has been reserved, but the member is late or does not use their court time. In addition, there are many blocks of court time still open. On those occasions, you can continue to play for an additional 15 minutes with no charge. However, if your extra play extends beyond 15 minutes, you will be billed an additional 1/2 hour of court time.

If someone has reserved court time after you, please end your play promptly to allow the next group to begin their court time.

Seasonal, Spot and Guest Fees for all indoor tennis court fees are as follows (applicable 2022 to 2023):

Prime - 1.5 hours- $900
Non-Prime - 1.5 hours- $750

INDOOR SPOT TIME RATES (Single use)

Prime - 1.5 hours- $44.39 plus tax
Non-Prime - 1.5 hours- $37.85 plus tax

INDOOR GUEST FEES

Prime- $16.36 plus tax
Non-Prime- $12.15 plus tax

Guest fees apply for ALL guests of members, and are charged per guest. When reserving a court, please let the tennis shop know if any guests will be playing during scheduled court time.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Once a court is booked, your account is charged.
